Meet Mayank Malik
Trained under the renowned Samar Jai Singh & Roopesh Thapliyal, Mayank is a well known actor and performance artist who has been involved with theatre, television, featured in advertising campaigns and worked as part of the Bollywood Hindi film industry - both as an actor as well as behind the camera in production and direction.
He has been the subject of articles in publication and news media such as the Times of India and is listed in the IMDB
Mayank completed his bachelor of Arts in film making and media studies and has been part of the Mumbai theatrical circuit for over 10 years. He has directed and performed as an actor in plays with 30 + shows in performances all across India, notably in the English plays of William Shakespeare - including ‘Macbeth’, ‘The Tempest’, ‘Othello’ and ‘Much Ado About Nothing’.
He has also acted and directed Hindi plays like ‘Firangi Laut Aaye’ by Asghar Wajahat, ’Tuglak’ by Girish Karnad and ‘The Courtmarshal’ by Swadesh Deepak .
Mayank has been part of the Hindi film industry for almost a decade with his work spanning voice over artistry, television serials under the banner of Balaji telefilms, advertising campaigns with top fashion brands, well known online media networks such as TVF (The viral fever), DICE Media and others, as well as behind the camera in the arena of scriptwriting, editing, direction and production.
With his extensive experience and dedicated career growth over the years, he is in the prime position to mentor aspirants whether its the initial foray into the industry seeking support and guidance as a beginner - or for more seasoned professionals to deepen their knowledge and understanding about the processes and networks and cope with ongoing challenges being part the industry.
